Description and principle of operation

The MPCS 3 installation is made on the basis of the most up-to-date technical knowledge in the field of design and maintenance safety and is the next in a series of products of the Stroystav CM company. It is designed for large metallurgical workshops, especially for steel mills
with non-stop casting of steel.

The massive design and installation of individual components make it possible for convenient maintenance and repair and increase the overall reliability of the equipment.

The principle of operation
1. Preparation and application of heat-resistant magnesite shotcrete on the walls of the steel mill for non-stop steel production method
The mixture supplied in high-volume bags (the so-called "Big-Run") is refilled with a crane into a hopper equipped with a bag breaker. There are 4 air vibrators and a classic vibrator in the hopper, which contribute to a good loading into the continuous mixer. In a continuous mixer, the mixture is mixed with water and thus the prepared composition falls into the funnel of the pump for the mixture. Mixing of the mixture continues in the pump funnel, then it enters the screw pump. From the pump, the moistened mixture is supplied under pressure to the transport hose and then to the plaster applicator. With the help of compressed air, the mixture is sprayed and applied to the bucket wall.

2. Preparation of heat-resistant concrete mixes
The mixture, which is delivered in high-volume bags (the so-called "Big-Run"), is refilled with a crane into a hopper equipped with a bag breaker. There are purge channels in the hopper, which contribute to a good penetration of the mixture into the continuous mortar mixer. In this case, the continuous mixer is rotated 180 degrees in such a way that its discharge funnel is directed out of the installation. In the mixer, the mixture is mixed with water and the finished solution is discharged into the prepared container, or directly into the place of concreting.
